These Sales Terms version Feb.2015 are applicable to the Aureas Webshop at the URL www.aureas-astrology.com and to orders and sale transactions for Aureas products available at the online store.
The Webshop is owned by and operated by Aureas, 15 rue du Cardinal Lemoine, 75005 Paris, France, who is the seller of the products.
For any sales in the Webshop the parties to the sales contract are communicating electronically when visiting the Webshop, sending email or posting electronically and the Buyer agrees that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that are provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
These Sales Terms only apply to purchases made on this Webshop. Other Aureas web sites on the internet may have different terms and conditions. Aureas may change or alter these Sales Terms from time to time, and will state the effective date above. Any changes to the Sales Terms will apply to orders placed on or after the effective date. The Buyer should recheck the effective date before placing each order in order to be sure that he has reviewed the most recent version which applies to his purchase.
By placing an order on the Aureas online store, the Buyer acknowledges that he has read all the information provided during the ordering process and agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of sale and payment as described below.
The sales terms, as well as the conditions relating to the mode of delivery and payment of goods, are an integral part of the sales contract concluded between the Buyer and Aureas. Therefore the Buyer is invited to read carefully these terms and conditions.
The sale will be considered complete when the Buyer will receive an email confirming the order. This email will summarize the information about the customer and the order, the price of the items purchased, the shipping charges and the delivery address to which the goods will be sent. The Buyer undertakes to verify the correctness of the data contained therein and to quickly communicate any modification.
Are charged to the consignee of the goods the payment of any taxes and customs duties under the law in force in the country of destination of the products.
Aureas undertakes to describe and present the items sold on the Webshop in the best way possible. Nevertheless, some minor errors, inaccuracies or small differences between the site and the actual product can occur. The information, images and pictures on the Webshop are indicative and not binding. They aim to give the best description of each product, but some items may vary slightly from the presentation of the website.
Aureas will not assume any liability for disruptions caused by force majeure or unforeseeable circumstances, including malfunctions of the Internet, in case it is unable to execute the order within the time stipulated in the contract.

   PRICES  

All selling prices of the products shown on the website are quoted in Euros and are inclusive of French VAT. You can select another currency offered by the site using the menu “Select your currency” in the top right. It is also possible to know the price of a product in any currency through the following website: Oanda.

If you live in a country that is not part of the European Union, the price of the items will be charged without the French VAT after indicating the country of destination. This means that if you live in the United States, for example, the cost of a program will be 20% less than the price stated on the website.

The selling prices on Aureas webshop can be changed at any time without notice. However, the products will be invoiced based on the prices listed on the site at the time of the order and stated in the email sent by Aureas as confirmation of the order.
Shipping charges are not included in the purchase price: they are calculated and indicated when you select the country of destination in the ordering process.
The total price of the order charged to you will be the final amount indicated at the end of the ordering process, before making the payment. Payment for the products will be made by credit card (or other means) on the secure ordering system of Santu-GlobeCharge. Your credit card will only be charged the day when the order will be processed.


   SHIPPING  CHARGES  

Shipping costs are invoiced on the basis of the rates given below, and are listed at the end of your order when you select your destination country. These charges are fixed and independent of the quantities ordered if the weight does not exceed 10 kg (for more important orders, please contact us in advance: we will send you all the necessary information).
Shipping is free for orders over 250 € if the country of destination is in Europe, and free for orders over 500 € for the rest of the world (for orders of less than 10 kg).
Shipping company: the packages are shipped only by mail. We do not work with companies such as DHL or FedEx.

If your order includes only astrological programs provided with the usual security protection (i.e. you didn't order a multi-user USB key), you can download the items (software and user's guide) directly from our website, so without paying any shipping. For more information, see the section “Downloads” on the left. In this case, when finishing your order, you must select the shipping method “Software download”.

The delivery rates are as follows:

  • 9 € for France, Monaco and Andorra,
  • 19 € for United Kingdom and the countries of the European Union,
  • 22 € for the other European countries (Switzerland, etc.) and the Maghreb (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria),
  • 28 € for the rest of the world (except for the books, which are shipped only to the countries listed in the first three destinations above). 


   PLACING  AN  ORDER  

The section “How to order” in the upper left of the screen explains in detail how to place an order. To be able to buy products on this Webshop you have to:

  • provide your real name, email address, payment details and other required information;
  • provide a correct delivery address (Note that Aureas is unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses, overseas army addresses, hotels, hostels or prisons.);
  • be at least 18 years of age; and
  • be the owner or authorized holder of a valid debit/credit card to buy the products if paying with a debit/credit card.

All orders must then be accepted by Aureas. We may choose not to accept abnormal orders and orders which are not placed in good faith. After having received your order, we will send you an acknowledgment email (“Order confirmation”) with your order number and details of the items you have ordered. You must consequently communicate to Aureas a valid email address to be able to receive the order confirmation and any other information. Acceptance of your order and the formation of the contract of sale between Aureas and you will not take place unless and until you have received an email confirmation of this from us.
If some of the products ordered are temporarily unavailable, Aureas will notify you as soon as possible.


   PAYMENT  METHODS  

1) BY CREDIT CARD
We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard...
The checkout process on our e-commerce website is absolutely secure (SSL and PGP encryption) thanks to the Santu-Globecharge payment platform. If you prefer to give us the details of your card by phone (France+ 1 43 54 88 88), we will need all the following information: first name, last name, card number, expiration date and card security code (3-digit code printed on the back signature panel of the card). In this case, you can place your order by selecting for example the payment method “Bank Transfer”, then call us as soon as you receive your order confirmation by email, to give us the details of your card.
Please note that the actual amount of your order will only be charged when the order is complete and ready for shipment (and not during the checkout process on the payment platform).
If you do not want to pay by credit card, see below the other methods.

2) BY BANK TRANSFER
If you wish to pay by bank transfer (in this case, your order will be processed when the transfer will appear on our bank account), our contact details are:

During the checkout process, when you will be on the Santu-GlobeCharge secure gateway, select the option “Bank Transfer” for the method of payment, and send us your order by email (aureas@aureas.com).

3) PAYMENT USING PAYPAL
You can also use PayPal  (http://www.paypal.com) to make your payment. PayPal is an American international e-commerce business allowing payments and money transfers to be made through the Internet. Online money transfers serve as electronic alternatives to paying with traditional paper methods, such as cheques and money orders.

With this choice, when finishing the checkout process on our payment platform, you'll be redirected to the PayPal secure gateway. There you have to provide the contact details of your credit card, which will be charged directly by PayPal. They will send both to you and us a confirmation of your payment. Your order will be confirmed and shipped as soon as we receive this confirmation. Note that if you pay by Paypal, your credit card will be charged immediately and not upon shipment of your order, which can take place a few days after, for instance if you order during the weekend.


   AVAILABILITY  AND  DELIVERY  

Since Aureas is the publisher of the products sold in the online store, all these products are available. However, if an item is not in stock at the time of the order, you will be promptly informed and will have the choice to accept the delivery of the only products available or to cancel your whole order. In any case, only the products delivered will be charged to your credit card.
Orders are processed upon receipt of the payment by our shop in Paris, which is open from Tuesday to Friday. The packages are sent by mail. The delivery time is about 4-5 days for U.K. and Europe, and up to ten days for the rest of the world. You are not entitled to any compensation for any delay in delivery.
Once the order is shipped, you will receive a new email with the details allowing to track the parcel delivery.
If you purchased only programs on our Webshop and selected the Software download option for the shipping method, no package will be sent. In this case, you will receive via email the instructions to download and activate your software: serial number, download links and the invoice.
The invoice will be created with the information you supplied during the checkout process. After processing your order, no changes will be possible concerning your contact details. 


   WARRANTY / RIGHT OF RETURN   

1) Right of return / Withdrawal
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery of the products (or downloading of the software, if this option was selected), without any penalty in terms of cost of the product, except for the shipping charges incurred by Aureas that will not be refunded. According to the French law, the postage for the return of the products are also to your charge. If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, you first need to send an email to the following address: aureas@aureas.com telling whether you want to replace the products or prefer a refund. Aureas will acknowledge receipt of your email and indicate the procedure to follow. Without this confirmation, the returned products will not be accepted.
The goods must be returned undamaged, in original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory equipment: user's guide and USB security key if one was purchased). Aureas will only accept the returned goods in perfect condition. Products damaged, incomplete, or in a state unsuitable for resale will not be refunded.
If you bought a program and had it activated on your computer, you will have to remove the software security protection and send to Aureas by email the deactivation code that appears in the last window (for more information, see page 17 of the user's guide). Without this deinstallation number, no refund will be possible.
Without prejudice to the right to verify compliance with the above, Aureas will refund the amount of the products covered by the withdrawal as soon as possible and within a maximum period of 30 days.

2) Warranty of some products
If you purchased a program, the warranty details are stated page 53 of the user's guide you received by mail, if you selected this method of delivery, or downloaded on our website. You can have a look on the user's guide using this link.
For more information on this subject, please contact Aureas before making your order. If you already have received your software, before installing it, please read this “Warranty” section of the user's guide, if you haven't done it previously. If you do not agree with the terms described, follow the return procedure as mentioned above.

3) Changing your software
If you are not satisfied with the purchased software, it is possible to change it with another in the days after the purchase. This can be done simply by contacting Aureas by email or by phone. If there is a price difference between the two programs, Aureas will make a refund if the new software is cheaper, or you can simply pay the difference by credit card in the other case. We will then tell you how to disable the program that you no longer want, and activate the new one purchased.

4) Availability of the products
As stated above, if a product is not available, you will be informed as soon as possible and will be refunded the same amount paid previously.

5) Order cancellation
Unless the order has already been processed or shipped, you may cancel it if you contact Aureas quickly. Even if you have paid by credit card, it will not be charged as long as the order has not been processed (unless you paid by Paypal).


   PRIVACY  POLICY  

Aureas is committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. We use the information gathered for billing and accounting purposes and to enhance your online experience. Aureas will not sell its database of customer details or details about customers to a third party. Any and all the information collected on this website will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. Aureas will never make your personal details available to other companies for marketing purposes. 
When you place an order through this website, we need to know your name, email, address and credit card details if paying by credit card. This allows us to process and fulfill your order successfully.
Your details are protected by our secure gateway. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorized access protect all of the sensitive customer data we collect.
All credit card payments are processed securely through the Santu-Globecharge or Paypal payment platforms. Payment by credit card is the fastest way to receive your order, as there is not clearance delay. We do not keep any credit card information on our servers.

What about 'cookies'?
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. They allow you to place your online order. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. You will need cookies enabled to use the Aureas website.
By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Aureas. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of France and will be interpreted in accordance with the French courts. The French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute which might arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions.
